Picasa is a free downloadable software from Google for managing, editing, creating and sharing pictures.
Using Picasa you can add captions to your photos and add ratings to your favorites. There is a long list of photographic editing functions available including allowing you to crop pictures, to remove red-eye or to add effects such as sepia, black and white and soft focus.
Should you forget where you saved your photos Picasa even has a function allowing you to easily find them again using keywords, ratings, and dates.
